How to videos

There are many applications that can be made easier to understand with a short film than with still images or written text. It is also the simplicity and clarity of such videos that have a direct influence on the perception of a brand and therefore have a direct impact on the brand experience. clear, consistent visual language is therefore important, so that users are drawn in and the environment shown in the video appears familiar to them at best, but at least that they can immediately and clearly see how their problem can be solved.

In order to achieve visual consistency and make the audience recognize Phonak, the videos produced should have the same general look and feel. It is therefore important to take these points into account:

Stage
– Clear and clean
– Reduced decoration (when in doubt, less is more)
– Items such as products or accessories new or clean and without scratches

Stage setting
– Bright lighting (particularly important for macro settings)
– if possible, only hands are visible in the picture to focus on the essentials

Model
– Clean and manicured hands (no cracks in the skin). Ideally, the fingers should be slender and proportionate to the length of the hand.
– Fingernails trimmed back, neutral polish (no decorations, jewellery or coloured fingernails).

Filming
– the appropriate handling should be clearly visible, sharp and somewhat slower than usual, but not hesitant.

Postproduction
– avoid supers (text overlays) as far as possible (internationality!)
– if icons or illustrations need to be used, they must comply with the relevant design guidelines
– If background music is desired, please use a track from the Sonic Branding Library
– the official Phonak video outro is an integral part of every How-To video
