Motion principles for video intro and outro
In order to bring moving pictures to life with the Phonak brand, the brand principles can be extended to motion principles. These principles will help viewers to experience Phonak in an emotional way.

Used to communicate connectivity, a perfect way to introduce content.

Used to divide content visually and for transitioning.

Movement
With a mixture of pulsing, scaling, moving from left to right and curved movement, videos and movies can be enriched in various ways that have an impact but don’t overwhelm the viewer.
Intro
Pulsing intro transition
Used only in the beginning of videos to introduce the brand swiftly and to communicate connectivity.
Expanding transition
Used to transition from one scene to another, (e.g. text intro to actual movie scenes).
Outro
Easing transition for outro
Used to initiate a change in the video like the ending or to highlight important elements such as text.
Playful dot easing movement
Used to connect elements in the video such as text snippets.
Please note
The use of an intro is not mandatory. However, the official outro (incl. legal information i.e. endorsement and copyright) must be applied to every Phonak video.

These static examples are just a basis for numerous possibilities. In order to get the best impression of the motion principles, the intro and outro variations for Phonak videos should be consulted as a reference.

Outro variations
Every Phonak video, including Roger, Pediatric and Lyric topics, ends with the animated logo as well as the Sonova endorsement. Being a legal requirement, include the copyright info into the outro.
The copy right info should be added below the Sonova endorsement “© 2026 Sonova AG”
Please avoid a statically displayed logo (freeze-frame). You can either animate the logo in scale as well as with fading effects.

Please be aware that the transition of background music to the sonic hook is not overlaid.
Make sure the dot is aligned to a short text before jumping into the right place. It should not coming out of nowhere.

Brand from Hearing care (AC) may add their logo into the outro section of the call-to-action.
The end frame however, needs to remain according to Phonak’s guidelines (Phonak logo with jumping dot and the sonic hook)
