Phonak font and typography

The Rotis font is the official Phonak font, licensed for all channels and therefore an important brand asset. Please use it whenever possible. If you are working with a software that does not support it or might create unwanted results, then use Arial Regular instead.

Overall keep in mind that main titles, slogans, lead text and quotes are to be set in Rotis Semi (Serif) in order to receive an impactful statement. Headlines, subtitles and body text are to be set in Rotis Sans (Serif).

The hierarchy offers some flexibility on headline colors for print. However, on digital tools Phonak green is not recommended for headlines in white background and vice versa, due to accessibility issues.

Always keep left alignment of the text:

In Phonak we use always left alignment of the titles and text. Exceptions can be accepted if there is no availability on some digital components on Websites and Social Media.

Quote marks

If you want a quote highlighted, either in printed tools or in a slide, consider the following parameters:

quote-example-brochure

Printed tools such as brochures, pamphlets or leaflets follow these settings. If necessary, you can reduce the font size for smaller formats than A4, however the ratio of quote marks and copy must remain.
Make sure that the quote is not too long (max. four lines) and ends with the green dot.
